Very good experience here at Kathrin's. Visited with a large group with my company. They had plenty of options to accommodate us outside, I didn't get to see inside unfortunately. This was my second time visiting a German restaurant, first time being week before this lol. Ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel (chicken). Was pretty good. The chicken was a bit dry for my taste but the Mushroom sauce on top made it tolerable, sauce was real nice. The spaetzle (dumpling bits) was much better than the one I had at the other spot, it had a better chew and taste to it. The veggies were a bit undercooked and had a strong crunch and chew to them. Authentic German food and delicious beer imported from Germany. Kathrin grew up in Munich, Germany, I believe, and she is sharing her delicious recipes with us California locals. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can try free samples of beer to be sure you get the one you will enjoy. The place is filled with German relics and has a nice pub feel to it. Plenty of seating inside and out, go give it a try. You won't be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: Nice friendly atmosphere, they have fries and mashed potatoes and chicken for picky eaters and they have a coloring menu with crayons.Parking: Parking is very accessible and there is a giant shared parking lot.

Just went here this past weekend to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time. We did not have one thing to eat that we didn't like. The pretzel and beer cheese is a must, we tried various sausages that they have to offer and all were delicious. Though my personal favorite was the smoked bratwurst. Their classic pork schnitzel was top notch and all of the sides were great as well. Our waitress was awesome and made some really great recommendations. I will definitely be making a return visit soon. If you are looking for some German food and a great selection of beers, this is the place to go.

This place is truly a hidden gem! The Biergarten is quintessential German with both communal and smaller tables. It’s mostly shaded and they have fans so it’s good for all times of day and weather. The pretzel…OMG, it’s divine! Beer and cider selection is fantastic. And the menu has so many German specialties it’ll surely appease all appetites and preferences! We plan to return and try everything on the menu!
