I really, really wanted to love this place. It is the only local breakfast spot. But our food took way too long and came out at different times. The service was meh. I am catching up on my reviews, so I'm not even sure it's still there. I gave it two chances, and was so not impressed, I drive 20 minutes in the opposite direction for eggs and bacon. Sad. I'm only giving it 2 stars because a place has to be horrendous to deserve only one.
What a surprising treat this place is. The road sneaks a bit for you, but once inside: the friendly and helpful staff, the beautifully prepared South Comfort food and clean facilities for a nice lunch. Also the price I paid for the food was a very pleasant surprise. It'll be a regular stop from me.
Kim's Kitchen was a popular place for my visit. The atmosphere feels very like at home and the service is spectacular. In addition, the food tastes absolutely heavenly. I would especially recommend breakfast for those who get up early.
Food was good service ok. Solid experience in a small town where there is not much else to choose from for breakfast. I'd go back if I'm in Chatham again
