Koko's Uptown Cafe

This place is decorated really nicely inside, the food was okay, i ordered the huevos rancheros. For 5.95 you get 2 eggs, potatoes and refried beans (the bacon was extra 2.95). The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was good, the refried beans were warm but didn't have any special taste to it but it was okay, the potatoes were soggy but warm, nothing special to say about them, the bacon was thin and crispy it was actually good but it was an extra. The tortillas were okay, the flour was much better than the corn, both are made in the restaurant. The my first cup of coffee was semi warm but the second one was Hot. Service is great. Food is way too salty plus plastic found inside a cheese botana Nacho. We told waiter and expected manager to come to our table . Wrong. He didn’t even have the courtesy to come to apologize and instead another waiter picked up our plates and told us that the manager said we didn’t have to pay for the food. No apologies no nothing. Will never return here

This place use to be good. it was very over priced the enchiladas are canned chili wolf and not home made. That’s why I went cause I wanted good enchiladas but I got a frito pie instead. Never again

Excellent food and service. The restaurant was very clean and beautifully designed. As soon as we were inside, we regretted to leave our decision.

Bought a seafood platter and instead received a French fries platter….very very disappointing
