I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Ironically I should have ordered some chicken, but that’s for next time. The burger was good, what you’d expect from any competing burger joint in Wenatchee. The bun was a little hard but that’s the only downside. The fries were not salted but they did provide salt packets which I prefer as I’d rather have unsalted fries then over salty fries. The fries were overall pretty good with a nice crunch on the outside and soft interior. The overall wait time when half of the parking spots were taken was about 5-10 minutes which isn’t bad at all. The service was very good but I agree with others that while the chicken was juicy, the breading was devoid of any spices, salt or flavor. It could be great with some flavor! The fish breading had good flavor but wasn't fully cooked so the outside was crispy and quite tasty, the inside was almost raw and was very mushy. It needed another 30 seconds or minute in the fryer. The onion rings were good. Change the chicken breading to give it flavor and maybe less breading on the fish so it gets properly cooked and it would be a little closer to being worth the $20 for the combo.
After a long day of riding we stopped in at one of my favorite drive ins, Larry's chicken. The two guys I had with me had never been but I grew up with Larry's so I had to bring them. New ownership definitely changed their recipe for the strips so I was kinda sad. But the guys burgers were so good one of them ordered a second one. Price is on point, and the serving sizes make you leave actually feeling full. The service was A+. Very kind and friendly employees with great atmosphere. I'll be coming back again!
Our very first time trying Larry’s Drive in! We will return! The original chicken and fries (5pc) was enough for 2 of us to share and still have leftovers. We also ordered a chicken burger, chicken nuggets and fries and onion rings. Perfectly breaded and cooked. My kids said the fry sauce was a new one and really enjoyed the flavors. Customer service was awesome! Very nice girl gave us some suggestions and she didnt steer us wrong!
