Now one of the main issues we have with purchasing a mobile home in France is the way we were treated in the Commerce on Saturday night, Alison ordered the smoked gammon which was so salty she could not eat it. When we informed the...owner her reply was very Anglophobic and after she left the table she started discussing the issue with her staff and other customers. The only way I got the cost of the meal removed from the bill was by refusing to pay. My wife felt belittled and felt so uncomfortable she never wants to come back to La Haye again. after the previous booking, the price of dinner should be cheaper for house guests (in the hotel), but it was more expensive, the information was not clear when we did the booking (I have to say by email in the evening “Jantar” souvenir). the. I managed to make it a bad translation. (inside is jantar, but okay). that was good, but the meat was extremely hard, not tender, not good value for food. other restaurant had more delicate meat.

Very busy restaurant with an extensive menu. Full of locals and wonderful steak and fish. The salads are to die for! Wine list more extensive for Reds vs White wine. Will visit again when returning to the area.

very pleasant lunch in this brasserie good choice, good food, pleasant service, good value. a convenient stop 45 minutes from the cherbourg ferry.

Interesting menu and a great cafe gourmand but spoilt by Surly waitress and poor service. Certainly think staff were anglophobic.
