a very good and beautiful resort to stay there in summer. its advantage lies in its recent infrastructure. a rink and 2 swimming pools, an indoor and an outdoor. a super skate park!!! brand new inaugurated in August 2022. It is also the top to make randos on foot or in electric vtt, on the other hand the dh track are not super and especially much less maintained than on the two alps, it is a shame because there is a beautiful area to exploit. a contrario the prices of the uphills are cheap at all and the view at 3300 meters is exceptional!!
The Alpe d’Huez resort deserves its prestige, imho. offers 360, as entertaining and functional in the summer as well as in the winter, it is possible to occupy all ages, profiles and physical conditions. in two words: it works. Moreover, I found the local population as friendly as it is user-friendly, adding some bonus points to the perception of the stay. Finally, and perhaps more ad hocly, the title of the most sunny station in the field will not be questioned by my stay which has enjoyed an absolutely radiant time:
superb mythical place of the alps for the many stages of the turn of france. stay in summer the resort offers good hotels and lots of leisure: hikes but also vtt descent. I advise you to climb to the white peak at 3300 m the tickets cost 24 euros per person but the panorama does not have a first price and a 2700 m I recommend you a break to acclimatize and deguster a small coffee served by a blue minivan. a 3300 no service so bring your own refreshments and a sweater and a windscreen: it makes 3 degrees
It's great, the station is huge and the trails for all levels. not many people and the lines move fast. ps: For what reads my opinion, wear your mask well during the ski lift, it is mandatory and that is why we can ski this season!
