Beth and I were in Crecy, and we were hungry and thirsty after exploring the pretty village. We saw a faded sign above a half-opened door - 'Crêperie ~ Saladerie' - and decided to give it a try for lunch. We slid in apprehensively, and immediately felt better when we saw two other guests - coincidentally, the staff members of the village tourist bureau who had helped us earlier in the morning. The handsome proprietor of the little eatery brought us the menus - only in French, and he didn't speak English - but luckily, the affable tourist bureau staffer interrupted his lunch to explain the menu to us. I really enjoyed the variety of menus. From cheese and meeting to Veggie the offer is suitable for various diets. They also offer salads for a lighter meal. The deserts are also very beautiful. Right price and atmosphere with professional service. I recommend!
Well known for its crepes... Guillaume, owner and chef, recently launched occasional brunch on Sundays.... Great food; excellent service and a cozy place... His Eggs Benedict are as good as in NY!!! And I love Eggs Benedict... kids loved it as well!
