"The kitchen was absolutely to die; end with a lemon cake and pistachio ice cream, which was by far the best desert I ever had in my life. The service was impeccable, friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. Wouldn't have enjoyed me anymore!"

This place has confused me first. There were many burgers on the menu and it seemed that many locals ordered them. But there were other things that looked more interesting. Burgers were not on my must eat list in France, so I try the snails as a duck. They were beautifully presented and tasted very well (my first time), but maybe not something I would order again. I followed with a fish meal that was perfect in every way. It looked beautiful on the plate and was totally delicious. This was a five star menu, and a treat to get it into the country, with not many other choices around.

After the glass of champagne I had the snails as a starter. For main course I took some beef with vegetables. Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of my desert, but it was perfect as all previous courses. Waiter recommended us special kind of wine for each meal. Besides of standard menu they put on our table the large black board with daily offer, that was really funny. Unfortunately, both menus were only in french.

A lesson break the barrier learning a little French it helps even if you make a fool of your self. In the beginning we had a great greeting about leaving everything that had disappeared. In between, we had decent hamburgers with real meat and frits crisp and charming. I had a calf dish that didn't really get married with chorizo sausage. I was hungry and it was tired, but not a gourmet experience. I'd go back, yeah.

An old building, newly renovated, clean simple style. Friendly staff, efficient service, good quality food. On Wednesday night there was a lot to do to have a reservation. In addition to the regular menu, there is a large selection of hamburgers with very nice homemade frits. A few choices of dessert but taste good. That's a place I'm going to see again when I go back to the family next time.
