fabulous last minute find due to a change i travel plans. eating and service lived up to read reviews and very well appreciated. . I think we have lost something on the service because our limited French and the same with server English. no real problems just no opportunity for easy talks or detailed eating discussions.
tonight was the best meal of our 3 weeks trip in France! even better than any of the meal we had in paris. beginning with the foie gras and fig in red wine, then main course of ricotta ravioli and lobster with sauternes cream and finish with nicholas de papa everything was delicious.
estampille seems to be popular before location. the dining room was almost full in the evening when we were there. eating was good, but not excellent. I think that the cook has to spend more time for seasoning and taste. service was excellent.
