After dropping off the kids at school, I had a craving for a delicious bagel. What's better than a bagel shop for a bagel? Nothing! I came here with my wife for breakfast and we enjoyed a blueberry bagel and a mini plain bagel with coffees. The selection of food, snacks, and beverages was amazing and very fresh. There were so many options to choose from, you'll definitely find something you like to eat here. The bakery section was impressive, but since I'm on a diet, I didn't indulge. However, if you're not watching what you eat, definitely go crazy. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and even lunch.
After searching for the perfect bagel on Long Island for 7 years, I have finally found it. This bagel has just the right texture, perfect taste, and proper seasoning. The dark crust is perfectly crispy with a chewy interior, not like bread pretending to be a bagel. It is not flat or overly bready, and it doesn't even require any toppings to enjoy. Even the hole in the middle is just the right size. My only suggestion for the owner is to make the crust more shiny and crackly, with little microblisters for an even more perfect bagel. Hallelujah!
RJ last brought me here in 2016 and we were glad to see its still fantastic. If you are bagel lovers like us, this is bagel heaven for sure. I have to let RJ order for me because I would get one of everything. We ordered bacon, egg, and cheese on sesame and salt bagels, and got 2 dozen bagels to go. The sesame ended up being the best for freezing, salt bagels don't freeze well. We also got a few egg, plain, and cinnamon raisin. I would relocate to NY to be near these bagels.
The restaurant is very clean and bright, with a wide selection of salads, cream cheeses, pastries, and bagels. Everything looked delicious and I'm happy I decided to come here!
