Los Rurales - Table reservation

Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit on the veranda on a fairly wet June evening, and the ceiling fans provided a nice breeze. We find that most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we came in - that's a big plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without getting involved. She noted that it was nice to see children with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended.

After checking online reviews, schedule a last minute business lunch. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that's the name) and stuffed prawn starters to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our meal was delicious. The owner was behind the bar and was very accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area.

The steak at this restaurant was fantastic. It was one of the best I have ever had. While the service was a bit slow, it was definitely worth the wait. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was a delightful experience.

The service was exceptional and the food was very good, but it would be even better if they make sure that everything on the menu is always available. I would definitely dine here again.

Ideal for Father's Day as the portions are large and hearty. Airy high ceilings. Music of the type 'Frank Sinatra'. Very pleasant.
