if they are looking for a really big breakfast at a bargain price of $13.95, malaga is their destination. the owner/manager/Koch/Waiter is a really friendly guy, although I hadn't visited almost 2 years, he welcomed me as if yesterday. the breakfast consisting of 2 roasted eggs on toast, 2 large pieces speck, 2 medium-sized tasty cooked tomato I am normally not fan of cooked tomatoes) and 2 sausages was served hot and within 15 minutes order. the only problem is that the venue does not have an ambiente with no background music, you might like it to an overgrown caffe in contrast to a restaurant, but I like it the juror’s verdict: food 5/5, service commission...more
Old fashioned hospitality in this spotlessly clean, retro style cafe/restaurant. The best bacon I've tasted and best big breakfast including eggs, tomatoes, sausages and toast for under $15. Tea comes in a pot made with tea leaves and coffee piping hot. Will definitely return to try their other dishes that looked delicious. They also have a large restaurant seating area. The owners are very friendly and obviously very proud of the good food they have been providing for over 40 years.
This place should be classified by the National Trust and preserved for ever. Eddie cooks the most delicious breakfast you ever get at a cafe. We always drop in here for breaky after the footy. If the cats win it’s an added bonus, if they lose it makes the trip easier to cop.
Great old fashioned service , cafe without being fancy. Quality lamb kebab service was great mid range price good feed
