Malii Gramercy - Table reservation

I’ve been to Mali many times, but have never experienced such poor service. When sushi came no chop sticks or soy sauce was brought. When entrees finally arrived one was totally wrong and felt like we were supposed to just accept it. No apologies for the error and took some time for the correct order to arrive. The entree didn’t taste good when it arrived. We were never asked how it was, nor asked if we wanted another drink, or compensated. Only when the bill came was there an apology. It will be quite some time before we return, if ever.

Excellent service and food! My friend and I both had the same dishes, but mine was extra Thai hot and his was “regular” hot… and we both thought the heat level was perfect. The spicy seafood soup is a favorite of mine, and what we started with. The grilled salmon was new for me, and I thought it was delicious… I cleaned the plate!

Have been a regular for many years. Food quality has somewhat declined over time. Also, like many restaurants, there is a shortage on staff to support busy nights.
