The location is not suitable for the amount of traffic it receives, and the restaurant's app often does not work due to poor mobile reception. The staff recommend using their free WiFi, but a 4G connection is required to register for it. The food is of average quality, as you would expect from any other branch of Golden Arches. Despite being very busy, the staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. However, on weekends, there are long queues of traffic on the dual carriageway waiting for the drive-through or parking spaces, which is unacceptable. The site would need to expand by closing down the COOP and fuel station to accommodate the high volume of customers.
The service was fast and efficient, the staff were friendly, and the food was hot and tasty. Despite being very busy, the staff were constantly cleaning and managing the waiting queues well. This was a refreshing change from other restaurants in the newer Guildford area where customers are treated poorly. Well done and thank you! We will definitely be coming back!
The parking lot was full. I ordered using the app, which was fine. The food was served quickly. It was just like any other McDonald's. The Big Mac was not good, I would rate it a 2 out of 10. The Quarter Pounder with Cheese was terrible, I would rate it a 1 out of 10. The medium fries were decent, I would rate them an 8 out of 10.
Don't bother stopping at The worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The burgers were lukewarm and so dry I couldn't even eat them, with barely any sauce. I also couldn't bring myself to pay 10p for ketchup. I won't be returning.
