Miller And Carter - Table reservation

Went on Saturday to Miller Carter in Bursledon with a pre booked party of 8 which had two children. Initially crammed on a table not giving elbow room so asked our waiter Jake to be moved and he pulled out all the stops to ensure we had sufficient seating arrangement. Overall, the steaks were cooked to our satisfaction. Only real complaint is lack of veg on plate with one sixth of a tomato and small amount of peppercorn in pot. The service was otherwise impeccable, Jake couldn't do enough, was very polite and attentive. A credit to Miller Carter. Only bad note some of the furniture appeared rather tired .

With international travel off the cards since 2020 we 've been travelling around the UK a fair bit and normally find ourselves in a Miller Carter. I normally come away with a feeling of being closer to God after a meal at this chain. I was left a little deflated this time. I like my steak on the more cooked end of medium, and definitely without 'running ' blood. The steak was OK, but not cooked enough, probably another few minutes would have done it. No peppercorn sauce (this should an arrestable offence for a steakhouse That said. Service was excellent and maybe just an off day.

amazing service as usual. lisa was very attentive. the food was great and the bonus was our taxi let us down and the beautiful marcello (not sure he was spelled) went out of the way to bring us home. what a legendary one!

Steak specialists, quick polite service, large but cozy joint, 31quid starter and 10oz rib eye, smart casual dress code. Hits 10/10 for us

Great service as usual excellent food couldn't fault it. Never had a bad meal. That's why we keep going back
