We were walking through Crown and love good dumplings so thought we would try this. I would not go back. While the service was ok the food was average. I had the BBQ pork dumplings which were ok but not brilliant as well as the duck pancakes. The duck pancakes were stale tasting and chewy. the flavour of the filling was OK but the pancake was so hard on the edge and sharp it actually sliced my tongue badly trying to bite it off. The other meal was the soy chicken and the rice was ok but the chicken was not really edible. given this was a $40 meal I would have expected better. Just seemed like the food was old and stale. I would not be going back.

My husband and I were staying at the Crown Towers in March for the Grand Prix. We found this great little place up an escalator on the first floor behind a bunch of gaming tables. We tried many different dumplings and buns plus wonton soup. The soup was a meal in itself! The pan fried pork dumplings were incredible! We went back again the next day and they were out of fried dumplings, that's how good they are. Very reasonable priced and very fresh, authentic food. Great service as well. I think we ate there 3 times during our stay, even getting take out back to our room.

We loved this restaurant the first time we tried Dim Sum in this unique way. You fill out a paper menu with a pencil, checking off which dishes you'd like to try. It was a great tasting and sharing experience. My husband and I enjoyed it so much that we returned several times while we were in Melbourne. A must-try!
