"I had another wonderful meal at this restaurant following the easing of Covid restrictions. The staff adhered to all social distancing measures and there was ample hand sanitizer provided. The food was delicious as always, with the steak pie, macaroni, mussels, and haggis neeps and tatties all receiving high praise. The sticky toffee pudding and caramel shortcake were also superb. I highly recommend paying a visit."

We were surprised how busy the car park was when we arrived, but quickly realised that there was a function on in the hotel. As well as a set menu the restaurant has a pretty extensive a la cartel menu. All dishes were very reasonably priced, with the set menu particularly good value. We were quickly shown to our table by a friendly member of staff and our drinks soon arrived. All seemed well ,when our starters arrived, all went down well both in taste and presentation. There was a bit of a wait for our mains, but it was worth it as all were very good. Our choices included sea bass from the specials), chicken pie, haggis and macaroni. Things went a bit wrong after that with a considerable wa...

We decided to dine at the Glazert Hotel for our last night in the area and were disappointed with our experience. Despite the restaurant looking impressive on the website, we were seated in the bar area and had to set our own table after placing our order. The food, which arrived within 20 minutes, was average and the children's meals were surprisingly small. Throughout the meal, no staff members checked on us, offered us desserts, or took additional drink orders. We had to go to the bar to pay at the end of our meal and felt unwelcome as there was no pleasant conversation with the staff. Despite positive reviews, our experience was a big letdown compared to the wonderful meals we had enjoye...

My friend and I had excellent service and scoff here yet again. I was particularly impressed by our lovely wee waitress sadly can't remember her name, but she has Campsie relatives! . She remembered all my friend's dietary requirements they are many! , and even came to ask if olive bread was a suitable replacement for her customary bread! I was much easier to please, and my steak pie was excellent. No room for pud two bottles of rosé Pinot Grigio, also remembered by waitress, might have had something to do with it! If I were being hypercritical, the frozen chips were a wee bit overdone, but the friendliness and efficiency of Paul and his staff more than made up for it.

We were thrilled to revisit the restaurant at Glazert Country House. They had implemented Covid precautions, ensuring a safe dining experience. The food was excellent, with delicious starters like paté, soup, and haggis tower. My haddock main course was very fresh, and the goat's cheese salad and Highland Burger were also top-notch. We couldn't pass up on the vanilla cheesecake for dessert. The young waitstaff were wonderful, providing pleasant and efficient service. Thank you for a great meal.
