I had heard about Morton's Farm Tearooms but had only a vague idea of its location. As illness prevented one of our group from meeting up, there was a quick change of plans. I decided to see whether there was a table available for 2...45. I was asked whether it was for coffee and cake and my reply was that I did not know what was on offer. On arrival I thought that it was a bit quirky to ring the bell, but I didn't have a problem with that. Our welcome was warm and the kitchen was still open for hot food , if that was what we wanted.
