We did the tasting course. It was a great experience. All the different types of pizza we tried were Delicious--some more interesting than others. It turned out to be more food than expected despite eating a slice a course. There were two salad courses and one chicken course in addition to four pizzas. Only thing that was underwhelming was the Pana Cotta for dessert. It was just ok. If was a great experience and I'm glad I did it but it's a one time visit for me. I'll stick to paying $10 for a large pizza at domino's (JK).
We were visiting Winston-Salem and decided to stop here for dinner. There was a 30 minute wait which we agreed to and then were told it would an additional hour. By the time we were seated, we were really hungry. They were out of two apps that we wanted so we settled for a salad and pizza. The arugula salad was so dry. I normally go very light on my dressing but this was like eating grass. We also got the burrata pizza and it was very bland.
We had the Pizzakasse at the bar with the wine pairings. If you get a craving for pizza, you should treat yourself and go all in for the pizzakasse. You are at the mercy of Chef's creative diabolical notions with a very thought out wine pairing. Sit, come hungry, You'll have a great time!
We did the prix fixe menu with wine pairing. We were definitely served the pairings incorrectly. Sangiovese with a seafood pasta and a sparkling rose with pizza.
