Located in Chinatown, just a 6-minute walk from the Delancey-Essex Street subway station, this restaurant is a popular spot for dumplings. It's a cozy place with limited seating, and like many Chinese restaurants, it prioritizes the food over ambiance. The service is quite quick as well! I ordered noodles with meat and vegetable sauce. The sauce was tasty, though not spicy, and the noodles, served hot, were enjoyable. I believe there was shredded pork mixed in with the sauce. Overall, it was a good experience, though I felt the portion size could have been greater. I also wanted to try the vegetable pancake, but they were out of it, so I opted for vegetable dumplings instead. The dumpling...

I ordered the boiled chive and pork dumplings, and they were made to order, providing a perfect warm comfort on a chilly, rainy day. However, I couldn't really taste any chive; it would be more accurate to call them pork and ginger dumplings since those flavors dominate. There’s also an added touch of sweetness from corn, which gives these dumplings a unique flavor profile. They have a very homemade quality, making them stand out among some of the most well-known dumpling spots in Chinatown. Additionally, similar to King Dumplings, the pork mixture is darkened by soy sauce, which isn't typical of northern-style dumplings. I wonder where the name comes from?

The perfect hole in the wall dumpling spot(more than dumplings though! . Been going here for over a decade. Atmosphere is simple, but calming. Seward Park is across the way if you want to have a little picnic. I never leave the LES/Chinatown without buying a bag of frozen dumplings to take home after eating everything on the menu. highly recommend.

Not good. The pan fried dumplings are sitting behind the counter pre cooked which makes some soggy and some rubbery. The soup had no flavor. Won’t be back. Book a table now

I've dined here before without any issues, but last night, I definitely experienced food poisoning after eating here. Ugh.
