Oak Barrel Tavern - Table reservation

Seemed like the best affordable dinner option in the area but unfortunately it did not impress. We got the fried calamari and it was mostly peppers. Opted for a seemingly healthier option of the teriyaki chicken breast (described as 2 chicken breasts with rice and steamed veggies) and it really lacked in flavor, the veggies were oily (not steamed) and the rice was obviously had butter in it. The teriyaki sauce was also kind of flavorless. I could cook a better dish. Also- who needs two entire chicken breasts? The smoked chicken carbonara was massive, extremely heavy/dense on the cheese sauce and I could not imagine eating more than a few bites. None of us could finish our meals, the portions...

I really liked oak barrel. We have had takeout many times in the past 3 years, but i had never eaten there. Newer decor. High celiings. Bar and separate restaurant area. We had burger and salad, both were fine, and very reasonably priced. Friendly and efficient waiter. Would happily return.Food: 5/5

First time sat at a very wobbly high top. Moved and the 2nd table was the same. Waitress put napkin under the leg. She was very attentive and helpful. Food was good. Quite a few kids yelling in the bar area but other than that it was enjoyable.Food: 4/5

Great atmosphere great food and great service Cocktails were also great Definitely will return steak tips were cooked perfect medium rare and the flavor was great not over killing waiter was great quick and efficient and always checking up Thank you

Good food and service. Noisy on a Saturday night. Less noisy middle of the week. It's necessary to make a reservation or else you can have a long wait
