We are visiting from Australia and were highly recommended the old bell as a nice atmosphere great food and service and after reading earlier good reports unfortunately i have to say it was beyond Extremely Dissapointing Service was non existent,the only service that existed was one staff member working at the bar every time we went to order drinks or food he was never there and had to wait till he reappeared. The food was served by a lady who looked extremely stressed and the food looked like it had been put together quickly. A fantastic old pub in our friendly high street. Russ, Anita and all the staff are extremely courteous. Prices are extremely reasonable and there is plenty of choice. I would recommend it to anyone.
Went out in Hemel with mates they took me to the old bell had such a great now welcomed by all staff, food was also amazing. Atmosphere was great looking forward to going back again
