However, there was one occasion where the service was poor. We were warned that the kitchen was busy when we ordered the main course, but we did not expect to wait 50 minutes for it to arrive. Despite the non-kitchen staff being free to prepare desserts, it took another 50 minutes for them to be served. We had two children with us and had to ask about the desserts after 30 minutes, only to be told they would be ready soon. When I mentioned this to the staff member who eventually brought the desserts, they seemed indifferent and did not apologize. Although it may be slightly off the beaten path, tucked away beyond the industrial units of New Hall Hey, it tends to get busy during peak times. The prices are reasonable and the service is generally good. There is usually a bit of a wait for food, but that's to be expected given its popularity.
