These are literally the best dumplings I've ever had in my life. They are soup dumplings which means there's a little bit of a broth inside the dumpling. It's 10 dumplings for $10 and you can get an assortment of different types. There is a michelin-starred dumpling place in Taiwan called Din Tai Fung that is supposed to be the best dumplings in the world. I honestly believe these are as good. I had never heard of District Dumplingdand just happened upon it while in the Mosaic District today. I will make the trek from DC just to go get these dumplings again very soon! We celebrate Chinese New Years by eating dumplings at home each year. So, we always look forward to good dumplings. We were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in the Mosaic District. We had steamed (shrimp, pork) and fried dumplings (chicken, vegetable) and a side of vermillion which were all delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive and the service was fast.
I thought the dumplings were delicious. Ordered the 10 piece Chefs Pick Dumplings of Kale, Basil Chicken, Bulgogi Beef. Definitely enjoyed them all. Also, the staff was friendly. Will definitely go back and try the others on the menu.
Dumplings galore. The mix and match is fantastic. For $10 bucks, you get 10 dumplings, tea, and little side salad. Freshly made, and tastes like home made. Best deal and fast food in the Mosaic District. Great service.
