Panera has really gone downhill over the last few years. They used to be reasonably priced, clean , and the food good. But not only have a removed most of the items I used to enjoy (their clam chowder was to die for), but now they charge full restaurant pricing, yet are still expected to get your food from the counter and bus all your dishes, and now you have to place the order yourself via kiosks), and their restaurants are disgusting. On December 7th at 10:15 AM, my son and I went in for breakfast. Right away, I had to repeat our order multiple times. Additionally, I requested fresh coffee because the coffee they served was old and cold. After 20 minutes with no food, I checked on our order and found my sandwich sitting there, not made the way I requested—just toasted. My son’s order hadn’t even been prepared yet. Two employees, a blonde and a brunette, were busy fulfilling one man’s order, even though it only consisted of a few sandwiches, and they seemed more interested in flirting with him than in the other customers waiting for their food. Panera Bread management needs to offer higher pay to attract workers. Did a Rapid Pickup order and got the notification that it was ready. Went there and they did not even start making my order. Had to wait 15 minutes. The couple of workers were backed up with a long todo list. Seriously the management needs to hire more people with attractive pay.
I placed an order through DoorDash and received only half of the grilled cheese, with no turkey sandwich or salad included. I reordered, and this time I ended up with soup, even though I hadn’t ordered any. It's hard to believe they could get such a simple order so wrong. Book a table now
This store is always out of ingredients. Our visit today they were out of more than half of their breads, including baguette. This shouldn't happen for a bread store. Looking behind the counter, the place looks like a mess. Floors are filthy.
The portion sizes are quite small for what you pay. They also got my order wrong and forgot my salad. The service was very slow, even though the restaurant wasn't busy.
All employees are great but Precious is an outstanding employee and the night managerIs very hard working and attentive to his customers.
