We've only been here for drinks in the past, and it's got a very lovely cute yet fancy interior which has a really warm atmosphere. We returned yesterday for a Sunday roast, and we were all gravely disappointed. Meat was flavourless. Roast potatoes were soft and cold. Gravy was watery and weak. Unlimited Yorkshire puddings were indeed unlimited, but they were not Yorkshire puds. You picked it up and it would crumble into sawdust. They tasted and felt like Styrofoam. None of us came close to finishing our meals, despite paying £17 for our dinners. Will not be returning for food ever again. P.S. don't get their Peacock Farm lager, it tastes like Coors light. first time to eat here on Sunday and I was not disappointed. the service was excellent, a waiting period of only 10 minutes until the food comes out. our table, in my sight was the best in the restaurant, near the log burner, great on a cold day! the Roast cow with all the circumcisions was delicious and plentiful my only aversion was the pickled red cabbage. for ordering cauliflower cheese and swarm in cover were more than enough for two people good size shares. the sticky toffee pudding was heavenly and a pretty good part to share. I would definitely recommend eating here. o

A lovely quirky pub with a variety of seating areas, quiet corners and even a private side extended section called the cottage, really oldy worldly England! Enjoyed dining there with my family for a birthday lunch for my 2 year of nephew. They too the food order in advance which meant it already to serve when we arrived, easier for 24 people and 6 kids!! Staff were friendly and polite. Will definitely go again if in that area, little bit of a drive from west London!

a very beautifully decorated esserei with sufficient space between the tables. eating was good without being great. the storage-battered fish was perhaps a little under. the badger best bitter was nice.
