Portofino On The River

Nice food on the water. My husband and I went for lunch. There was quite a lot outside, but only 4-5 tables inside when we arrived, but when leaving the entire restaurant, only a few empty tables had filled inside. We ordered the Climbs with strawberries for a starter and they were perfectly cooked and the spinach, strawberries and balsamicodrizzle were the perfect companion. I ordered the sea bass, a fav of me, and it was so moist, tender and simply amazing with the sweet potato and spinach. My husband had the Ahi Tuna, the perfectly meerte and freshly steamed veggies. Beautiful view.... The best part of Portofino is the ambience and great views of the river. Make sure you have a window view or sit outside when the weather is correct. We always had pleasant servers that are fast and efficient. I love the Cobb Salad (it is big and very fresh) and I had a hit and miss with the perch sandwich (because the other time it was really dry). I think it's expensive for the food you get, but I had good experiences most time and think it's a nice place for a relaxing meal.

Love the view while you eat, adds only the experience. Beautiful view of the water. The parts were big. I had the pasta with the syrup tips and sausage. I was impressed by how soft the tips were. Not overcooked like I tasted in other places. Everything the other had at our table was also good for taste and quality.

Great restaurant. Had a wonderful time here, food and service was excellent. If the weather is nice to go our favorite place and get a drink. Beautiful views of the river.
