We were VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality, the service and the value of this restaurant which is situated in the heart of the old town and is the only quality budget choice available. I am calling it budget because the 3 course set meal is priced at 12€ but the quality was very good. The service was attentive and the recommended wine was excellent. We were given an excellent table and the restaurant although small was laid out so as to allow a spacious dining experience. A great place to relax and and unwind after a day of museums,towers and churches !
En medio de una ola de calor extrema, este lugar nos pareció un oasis. No es nada del otro mundo por dentro, pero es acogedor y su personal es muy amable, amén de la comida. El ciervo estofado estaba buenísimo y también la ternera. Además, la calidad-precio nos pareció excelente. Si quieres comer bien en un barrio precioso de Cáceres, sin aglomeraciones y lejos de la Plaza Mayor, este es tu lugar, y no tiene pérdida! Se encuentra justo al lado del Museo de Cáceres (Palacio de las Veletas).
An easy styled restaurant in a scenic location in the old town of Caceres. We ate there 3 nights, as we rated it the best restaurant find on our 9 day holiday in Spain. Excellent value menu del dia for €10 per person. Night 1: wonderful food and service. Night 2 : good. Night 3 : Very good. The waitress there deserves special mention as she raised the standards on night 1 and night 3.
I visited with a friend and all our children for dinner last September. It was very full so service was a bit slow but the waiter was very nice and we knew ahead it would take some time. The food was quite good and the value for money correct. The place is very nice and the location is excellent, a trip back in time. I will return.
