Here you cannot expect a fine kitchen, but the fish plate is always delicious. Nothing delicious but delicious. I always order the roast potatoes without bacon because I am Pescovegetarier. This time the bowl came with bacon. I objected to this, the waiter disappeared with the bowl, came back and there was no speck left. I then ran with the fork because the bowl still smelled like bacon. And behold, the bacon had been eaten down and a few potatoes were thrown over it as a cover. My buddy ate that stuff. I didn't complain. I don't want to go into such a respectless place anymore. Actually, they need customers in winter too, but I don't go there anymore.
Once ignored by staff, relatively long waiting time until someone came and asked, then waited for a drink again. Eating was ok, could be better: main dish cod on Rahmwirsing, all without a spice; Dessert Crème brûlée with fruit that you had to look for (counted 1 cranberry, 2 blackberries and 8 currants). Prices above average, also for mulled wine with shots and others, is nevertheless good and in view of the low season, in which almost all other good restaurants are closed, a meal is all right here.
The fish soup Nordpol was delicious. A tidy portion with plenty of fish fillet. The vegetable insert looked a bit like prefabricated TK goods, but I don't think it's bad. The hammer was the Scholle Finkenwerder Art. Nicely cleanly prepared so without the suffering burrs on the edge) and roast in the pan. Best plaice for a long time! Good service, good value for money.
