River View Deli Cafe

This is known as one of the best coffee places in the area and certainly in the mornings, with plenty of tradies flying in and out to get their fix, it must be good. Located centrally opposite the Yarra River, this is a great place not just for coffee but also for food and meeting up with people. There is generous seating inside as well as out the front under cover. Dogs are welcome. Food choices are plentiful with wraps, focacias, pies, sandwiches and even ice cream etc. Staff are always so helpful and really take the time to get to know their clients. Ahh Riverview, you nail it on so many levels. Watching your team at work in the morning when all the tradies and business people are coming for their coffee is quite an art. Reuseable cups are bountiful on the bench with plenty of orders coming in left, right and centre. You know most of the customers by name if not by face. Fabulous work. Notes for non locals: You can dine inside or out but no table service order at the counter. Plenty of great food such as toasted sandwiches, bakery items, foccaciasm ice cream and general snacks. Dietaries can be catered for just let the staff know. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Good parking out the front although it can get busy. Opens early.

What a great find! It was awesome to stumble across this spot, beautiful fresh food, great coffee, fun staff and went for a beautiful walk on the river after!

Our cycle group came here again fast service, good coffee and cakes. Great place to stop on a ride to Kangaroo Ground and beyond.
