Sainsbury's - Table reservation

Won't return. We went in for a brunch. Arrived with cold fries,mushroom,plate. Spoke to assistant who took it away,was returned with dried up egg,baked beans,obviously just shoved in a microwave,inedible. I returned it to a supervisor who agreed the food was awful,refunded the cost but disappointing. Not sure what's happening there but a few people have said the standard has dropped, we won't return

Great selection of products. Stock rotation could be improved as there was Teff Flour on the shelf around 3 months past the best before date. The self scanner staff can be a bit grumpy sometimes, I've never seen one of them smile before and they don't greet you or wish you a good day say goodbye. Nectar card well promoted. Would I return? Probably not.

Finished helping the brother in law and his partner move home and just needed a refuel pit stop. Didn't fancy a pub so ended up at Sainsbury, of all places. Pleasantly surprised; Ham, egg and chips x 3 and 1 lasagne and chips.... £20...BARGAIN and very good to boot. Cakes followed but were ordinary but on the whole, well worth a visit.

The fish and chips with peas for Friday lunch are delicious. The quick and cheerful service is great after finishing the weekly shopping.

Not bad value food; good hot choice, but it's old fashioned, with a really horrible cafeteria feel and it's incredibly noisy.
