For years I have eaten here, this includes the changes in administration over the years from Little Italy to Primos, and Angelos is primarily the best pizza. If you think you had the best pizza, you don't have because the best pizza is served only here. My recommendation would be the deep bowl pepperoni. But what brings me back every time is that when I get inside, it feels like I'm in the theme of song to Cheers... “Where everyone knows his name.” This is the best way to explain and respect the loyalty they receive to their costumers. All who have lived in town for decades would agree that Angelo's back in the community is like a family member returning home.
This place is amazing, not just eating the whole atmosphere. Me and my best friend ate here. There is no lot of money in the world that can compare with the friendships and positive memories created in this pizzeria. The owner Angelo was amazing and he is a witness how powerful and high-lifting friendship can influence a person's life.
I've eaten pizza for over 50 years; from NYC to Chicago. Angelo is one of her best! Not only is the food authentic, but it's a real pizza salon like my youth. Bring the whole family; nothing compares with a cake directly from the OVEN.
The Sicilian pizza is the best if you don't want to venture into Staten Island. The small rice balls with only cheese in them are also amazing. 100% choose Angelo for Pizzaover the others in the area.
