Scarlet Oak Tavern

we're here for Valentine's Day. Typically, the scarlett oaks love, but I felt a little like me in the 99 this time. the people who wait in the tavern overfilled the entrance/exit. the seat was full. I appreciate the brown paper table covers for water saving, but maybe something more elegant would increase the experience instead of being utilitarian. I compare scarlett oak with toscas for special occasions, but I think toscas is a better choice for a romantic dinner and scarlett oak for the daily sale. our server was wonderful. very attentive.

on 7:30 reservations advised and was said that they run back and wait 10-15 minutes, turned into a 45 minutes waiting everyone with reservations said they were waiting, hostess did not treat this situation very well as she always told everyone the same waiting time that was not true at all. the waitress was very good and eating was very good, but the beginning of the evening made the night really sour.

First of all, our reservations were for 6:30 but we weren’t seated until almost 7. However, once we were seated, our meal and service was excellent. Our waitress, Abby, was wonderful. She was very attentive and pleasant. Dinner was very tasty. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner. The restaurant was crowded, but this showed that it was worth the wait . Noise level was higher than normal but tolerable.

I chose my 50th birthday and it was such a great choice! nice atmosphere, great eating and great business. the waitress was so nice and professional and attentive. I'll be back in a moment. I loved the kamin when I first went right and I thought that was a great place to meet a friend for a cocktail.

the filet mignon is incredible. the red wine reduction sauce is meant to die. always friendly staff, beautiful romantic environment.
