We were in Bad Schandeau looking for a place to have dinner and spotted this cosy looking restaurant. There is patio seating out front and seating inside the restaurant. We entered and waited for the server to acknowledge us and assign us a seat. She...absolutely ignored us even though she saw that we were there. We finally called out to her and requested a table for two. She was very rude and in welcoming and said she would see what she could do. The restaurant was empty inside and she never appeared back. After waiting about minutes we left. I got the impression that unless you spoke German you were not welcome.
As we walking into the restaurant, the lady at the desk first turned her head around and pretended she didn't see us.we were standing there for one minute waiting for her to turn around and show us a table. It didn't happen. I had to...call out excuse me she then turn around and looked at me with no expression on her face. I asked can we have a table for two. She shredded her shoulder indicating anywhere and she made me feel like what is your problem. We felt that we were so much not welcomed, we had to walk out.Very arrogant. go somewhere else to spend your money.
Cuisine good. Service personnel awful, they ignored us from the beginning. After the first contact, they made remarks about our nationality. Is the service personnel prejudice against Poles? After that, our little child spilled the juice and lack of reaction from their side, we have...to clean the floor and no offer for juice. I've never met this kind of situations in a restaurant.
Mushrooms from the can, vegetable s from the freezer, meat either partly raw or very chewy, lots of garlic where you do not expect it, average service at best and all that for an above average price..

On a trip to bad schandau town we joined this small restaurant. The style was little bit oldish, but the food was excellent. We got a good service as well, so we can recommend the restaurant.
We stopped by this nice small restaurant run by a local family. The service was good and the local quintessential German food, schnitzel, sausages were really nice.
The service was very friendly, the food hot, very tasty and finaly excellent. The price was good as well. We can absolutely recommend this restaurant.
Good value simple food. The conservatory' part is rather rustic and not very comfortable. Service is a bit varied, not always with a smile.

Indoor terrace with typical german food. Staff is friendly and had a general good experience. Prices are fair and dishes are good and big.
A laid back casual atmosphere and a great selection dishes make this a place I'd want to come back to. The boar was particularly amazing!
