My husband ordered a cherry limeade and mistakenly asked for a “route 66”. The drive through attendant stated very rudely “It’s called a route 44 drink”. My husband and I stared at each other blankly stunned and noting his rude response. I went inside to get the drink and elected to taste the beverage before going back to the car. The drink tasted extremely bitter, so I asked for the drink to be remade.Norway (so he said his name was), said there was nothing wrong with drink and stared me down like he wanted to hit me over a drink (wow)! Now Sonic isn’t exactly the best of quality of food so the reviews complaining aren’t exactly reliable. But if you are looking for good food the sauced chicken bowl is delicious. Sonic is still the king of drinks, very easy to customize and you can get a lot of things you can’t get anywhere else. If you get the app Rt. 44 drinks are a dollar. That’s an insane steal considering how big they are. Service is great, so many nice staff, my regulars especially. Overall an amazing place for drinks, ok place for food, and nice place to chill.Parking: Good lot.Kid-friendliness: They have food for the children.Wheelchair accessibility: Low to the ground so they got that going for them.
Hadn't been to Sonic in a while so decided to stop by. Tried their footlong coney dog and popcorn chicken. Decent enough food if you're looking for a quick something without a lot of surprise to it. The best though is the drinks, while ordering I found out they can turn any of their sodas into a slushie and that so made my day. At the very least I'll be back for more slushies. The guy that was working the counter was fantastic and very nice and helpful, which is very good when you have an overtired 5 year old in tow.
This Sonic is the worst! They never get any order right. I've tried ordering various items, and there's always something off. The grilled cheese isn't even toasted, the cheeseburgers come on cold buns with unmelted cheese, and my Turtle Sonic Blast was just vanilla ice cream with a tiny scoop of topping on top. Save yourself the trouble and skip this place! Book a table now
I only visit Sonic for their Snickers Blast. During my last two trips to the Villa Park, IL location, they didn't have any Snickers for my blast. I inquired if the Snickers were being discontinued, but the staff didn't have any information. Can someone please clarify this?
Had to drive 8 miles just to try the peanut butter and bacon burger. Did not have this specially advertised burger at the one about a mile from my home. The burger was disappointing. Would not order again. I'll stick to the traditional bacon cheeseburger.
The quality of the food has decreased and somehow the prices have gone up. Also, they've stopped offering soda refills. An employee mentioned that this change happened after COVID. What a strange situation!
Went drive threw. Look a longer than expected. Then i got back to job site and food was completly cold. Not even room temp. Horrible service. Book a table now
