I try not to be too impatient with these places because since the pandemic, every place has been understaffed, and these people are overworked. However, today?s visit was very unpleasant for me. I ordered a bagel from the kiosk, and then Went to wait at the designated place to pick up bakery items. One of the associates that worked there are if if I?ve been helped, and I told them that I had ordered on the kiosk and I was just waiting. I waited for a good 10 minutes for one bagel, while the people that ordered right before me, and people that ordered after me got their items right away. I didn?t move, nor did I complain, but I was ignored. Nobody checked again to see if I got my order. I wen...
I hate to leave only bad reviews for places, but I'm not sure what I can do. I think the problems and terrible service was just here and there, but it's like ever since I moved to O?Fallon ANYWHERE I go, my food is wrong. Today, for example, I went to Panera for dinner tonight and when I went to no one on the counter, I stood there for a good five minutes and WATCHED employees do everything BUT my order (it sounds challenging, I know, but if they are standing right about it?s hard, not irritated) I finally get to order and get my food after I come home and opened it, I see that the sandwich is completely wrong. I don't understand why it's so hard to read a screen that composes the right food...
When I write that, I'll wait for about 30 minutes. I've seen how many people get out of my head. The place was only about 1/4 full when I entered, but now it is almost packed with people waiting for more orders, and the workers produce food in a snail pace. They seem to be full, but only really inefficient. I have seen several people coming back to the counter to get the things left by the orders. All in all, completely incompetent.
I occasionally go here and always order the Mac and cheese for Dine-In and never had problems. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most bakery items are not in stock when you go to dinner, but this is to be expected in a place that makes them daily so make sure to go earlier on the day for bakery items. Innocent errors are occasionally made on orders, but the staff is always helpful and repairs them quickly.
