This is based on my most recent visit. Staff handing out drinks/food basically ignores you even if you stand at the counter for five minutes. Today is also free red cup day, and I've never had an issue getting a free cup despite not ordering a fall or holiday drink. So since the expediter was ignoring me, I stood in line to ask the woman at the register if I could have a free cup. She says, no it has to be a fall or holiday drink. I said, That's the whole reason I came in today, can I get one anyway? She says, We can't just GIVE them away. Isn't that literally what free means? And like I didn't just spend $6 on a coffee? The staff at this location were incredibly rude and unhelpful during my visit today from 10:40 to 11:20. When I inquired about how to earn Starbucks reward stars through my app and how to accumulate points from a recent purchase, the employees responded aggressively and seemed eager to dismiss me. I had a disappointing experience at this Starbucks location today between 10:40 and 11:20. The staff were rude and unhelpful when I inquired about earning Starbucks reward stars on my app and how to gain points on a recent purchase. Instead of providing assistance, they responded aggressively and spoke to me in a condescending tone, making me feel even more confused about the loyalty program. It's surprising that the staff don't seem to understand it themselves. Although I was trying to engage positively with Starbucks, this encounter has left me feeling discouraged about returning. I was quite disappointed going into the Starbucks today knowing that you can't customize your drink if you can't do it on the app. This is probably the only store that has ever said something like that. They are also pretty Shystie about their portions, usually if I order a grande drink in a Venti cup most stores, give you a little extra. Never coming back to this Starbucks ever again! This is my local walnut Creek. Starbucks is location is convenient on the way to the freeway and the people are awesome.Parking: 9 parking spots close to entrance, hundreds just a short walk from rest if parking lot.
My family had an outstanding experience at the restaurant. My mom insisted that we leave a review because the service was truly wonderful.
