I don't appreciate the girl with the glasses, red hair and light pink bangs making comments about a customer's weight (not me but another customer) as well as hand gestures, speaking to another employee like others, including the customer, cannot hear her. Absolutely unprofessional, unacceptable, uncalled for and rude. She wasn't even in her apron but behind the counter and deciding that she can just come in out of nowhere and start with rude comments after trying to boss the girl around? She was shouting across from the register as the girl was standing by the retail items across the store. Who even are you? I don't come on here to make reviews unless the experience was absolutely horrible...
I more want to thank this location for selling cups, tumblers, and beverage cups. I spend a lot of money on Starbucks throughout San Diego, but when I visited this store, I had the idea to buy a 16 fl oz beverage tumbler and put my own coffee in it. I acted on it, then learned from the choices of instant coffee, Starbucks sells their own instant coffee. So I used it for that and also sometimes tea by Tazo which Starbucks used to carry. I've planned to start saving. Yay. Thanks baristas of Santee Trolley Square. You are that one location that is very bright for that idea.
I didn’t want to write a review, but the service the baristas at the Starbucks in target gave me night and day better service than the baristas here. At this location they treat me like a homeless person and it’s embarrassing for me how uptight they act around me now. I literally walk up to the counter and they don’t even say anything it’s really bizarre and I am not used to walking up to a Starbucks counter just to be stared down. I expect a greeting or a smile at the very least, which I don’t think is unreasonable.
I usually get coffee at this location almost everyday, for the most part I always get a good experience but today was the exception the girl who took my order wasn't friendly at all. Can bearly hear what she was asking i was telling her how do want my caramel macchiato and all she was asking was anything else anything else. I did want it to order more but i have to limited since she was in a rush i guess. If she dont want it to work I dont know what is she doing working there. Book a table now
OK this Starbucks at the trolley stop in Santee was the best Starbucks I think I've ever been to everyone was so kind and friendly and answered all my questions very patiently. They were playing delightful oldies, and I met a nice young man there and we colored some Christmas ornament pictures together with colored pencils and Twistable crayons that they provided. It was a lovely. Mid day break up and thank you for the excellent service and the coziness of this location.
I get coffee here approximately always (just about every day that I work, at a store around the corner) and the team here always makes me feel like a rockstar. When I walk in, they greet me by name, even have my order ready before I even ask. They're patient with my long drink orders and make the most magical, wonderful, life-changing drinks (or maybe it's just the caffeine. Nah). Special shout-out to Jalin, Paul, Rachel, and Horizon, y'all are amazing.
The staff was nice and cheerful, but the coffee was terrible. Ordered a Vente Caramel Macchiato. It was very weak, tasted like watered-down hot coco, not worth the money that I spent on it!
Picked up a venti Americano with whole milk from this Starbucks. The Americano was good. The service could have been friendly, however. Book a table now
