Steersons Steakhouse

I made a reservation for myself, directly through the restaurant's web site, in which I explained that I have mobility issues and required appropriate access. When I arrived at the restaurant, I discovered that the only access to the dining area was via a very steep flight of stairs! Despite having my contact details nobody from the restaurant bothered to let me know about this beforehand! Just not good enough! The staff member who was at the front desk when I arrived really didn't care at all, and made no effort to rectify the situation! For a Steakhouse not in Texas, this is pretty decent. They don't give you proper steak knives but they don't give you proper steak sizes either so you're all set. The food here is good and the view is pretty too. Great place to entertain out of towners or special guests. The menu has decent variety. For appetizers, 4 of us shared chorizo, calamari, and prawns. All were delicious but the calamari had exceptional flavor!! I tried the petite filet with bernaise sauce. A steak shouldn't require sauce but this one, it was better with sauce. We shared the pumpkin and the brussel sprouts, both were soooo good!! The baked potato was also very good. All in all it was a lovely meal and great company!...

Tough, flavorless, underwhelming and over priced steaks. Bland, mediocre at best, side dishes. At least the wine was good. Polite friendly service, and clean, bright ambience, bumps my review a star. And I loved the area it was located in. Walking around dinner and exploring got me excited to start my vacation in Sydney. The concierge at my hotel was wrong and perhaps that was my own fault for taking his advice when I asked him about somewhere that might do Sous Vide and his response was a dead pan, confused stare, I should have taken that as a hint to do some of my own research, or change my mind from having a nice steak that night.

My daughter and I chose Steersons Steak House for our first dinner in Australia at Darlinh Harbor. Outstanding is not the best word it was phenomenal. We started with the homemade crusty bread with soft butter yum. My daughter had a beautiful perfectly cooked filet. I had the best lambchops anywhere anytime. Perfect. With a wonderful sauce and onions and a pea mouse that was divine. We enjoyed the fresh mixed vegetables zucchini, broccolini, pea pods, almonds. Service excellent. The water (still) was unexpectedly terrific. We will definitely go back if we can this week. Thank you!

A solid meal at Steersons! Came in on a Sunday night and was able to be seated quickly. There was a beautiful sunset view from the patio. We had the bread, and two steaks. Everything was cooked well and we had plenty of time to eat without feeling rushed.
