I've been eating at Subway for a long time, but then I started going to Jersey Mike's because they're straightforward and have the meat in a cooler that they pull out and slice for you as you order. I know Subway says they're doing that and they have the meat-cutting machines in several of the stores out front shiny and clean, looking like they've never been used. It's my opinion that they're still doing the meat the way they do and have the cutting machine out front to make it look like they're using that in the sandwiches. In the sandwiches I've recently ordered, I have not seen any meat cut off that machine to date. I think if they wanted to look more legitimate, they would have a cooler...
I was disappointed during my recent visit to the Subway branch on La Palma Street in Buena Park. The covered meat counter made it difficult to see what I was being served, which is crucial for transparency in food preparation. Additionally, the absence of water cups was inconvenient, and having to pay for one seemed unnecessary. I was also surprised by the lack of plates for dining in, and the absence of an apology for these inconveniences only added to my frustration. Overall, my experience did not meet my expectations, and I hope the management takes steps to address these issues for better customer satisfaction in the future.
Used to be one of my favorite spots to have lunch, until I saw a guy coughing inside everywhere without wearing a mask or covering his mouth. And he was also the same person who was filling up the meats and vegetables. Very disappointed. Never going back.
I went on my lunch to get some food for me and my bf and Sabrina only took care of him completely ignored the fact that I was there really rude didn’t even ask. If I wanted anything just went straight to the counter so I just walked out . Book a table now
Closed early. Kid was rude when I walked in.. just said were closed in a low voice stared at me with a blank face. Very unprofessional. Terrible first impression, I 'm just heading over to the one on Orangethorpe nex time.
Very clean Subway. I stopped in on Wednesday afternoon and the place is fresh and clean. All the food items were kept cool and there was no flies in sight. Junior was friendly.
The sub was as hard as a rock! It must have been sitting around for the last couple of days.
