Usually, I order online and pick up at this location, but since I wanted to take advantage of the Free 6 sandwich offer I received after buying a $25 gift card, the offer was only good at the restaurant. I received great service from Elias, who prepared my sandwich and made some great suggestions; very much appreciative. I showed the barcode on my phone to Genesee, apologies if the name is misspelled, and she was very courteous and patient, such a contrast to the experience I received from the Subway Restaurant on Sanderson Ave., across from LA Fitness (different review). We went there on 6/17/2023 and walked in at 9:50 pm, they close at 10. The door was open and they were making a sandwich for 1 person. We only wanted 2 sandwiches to go nothing else. They said they that person was their last customer and wanted to clean up. They still had 10 minutes left before their posted closing hours. They were not apologetic when I stated they were still open for 10 more minutes. All the female worker said was this is our last customer. They just didnt want to serve us nor honor their operating hours. Very disappointed because we rushed there to get our food before they closed. Will be filing a complaint with corporate. I wish I had a better experience. I made an mobile order which apparently is a big mistake. The staff didn't bother to follow the order as it was ordered and just did whatever they wanted to the sandwiches. And then put whatever cookies in a bag and taped it instead of the ones that were ordered. If I wanted the food made wrong I could have gotten the same result from McDonald's. ?
Always a good sammich. Never enough meat. This particular day, a young student had just started, no experience. I had to tell him what meats went on my subway club. I didn't mind. He's gotta learn somehow. But he needs more guidance, and work on the clock. He wasn't clocked in. Book a table now
