Travels op the tram for a short hike, the view from the top and lunch. We were rewarded on all accounts. The salad and potato soup were perfect. The roaring with bacon and egg was the best we had in town crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside! The service was typical Swiss not bothering you but prompt when askef. So overall, very good service, terrace environment and typical Swiss comfort food
This is at the top of a cable car station where normally you don't expect very good food. This place is the exception. I had the best Rösti mit Speck und Ei that have ever had in my many trips to Switzerland. You must stop here for lunch!
Stopped off on our hike across the Gemmipass, awaiting the gondola to Kandersteg. The terrace across the mountains is fabulous, the vistas breath-taking. But oh, so let down by the grumpy waitress. The food was fine.
The best Rösti we have had for a very long time. The chef in the kitchen really knows how to cook great swiss comfort food. Very friendly team!
