It is not recommended to stay in the cafeteria for lunch. First of all, the Kung Pao Chicken soup has a lot of juice, which is far inferior to the ones made in Chengdu restaurants, such as Ginkgo Golden Pavilion. Second, it’s 15.19 bucks including tax. I gave the waiter 21 bucks and asked for 5 yen. She said I didn’t give a tip. You can’t tip less than 1 bucks. I asked them if they have regulations on how much to tip. She said that one dollar for tax is too much. No less than one piece. I, a girl, was afraid that I would get slapped in the store if I didn't leave a tip, so I added another piece. No one said hello when I left. Won't come again, scared

I was very disappointed with my Sichuan food experience. When we went to dine, the waiter was not only unwilling to serve us, but also had a very bad attitude. We felt very unwelcome and the entire dining experience was ruined by this poor service. As a restaurant, basic service attitude is very important, but Duyi Sichuan cuisine obviously failed to achieve this. I will not come here again or recommend to any friends.

I do not recommend this restaurant. The Sichuan food is not authentic and not very delicious. The beans tasted bitter, the soup was only sour, and while there was a lot of red oil, it lacked spiciness. The service was mediocre; the waiter even pressured us to leave a tip. If the tip was less than expected, she would ask about it directly. Overall, it was a very unpleasant dining experience.

It was a Take out. Portion is way small comparing with other Chinese restaurants at NYC. I would say the worst Chinese food in NYC. It is NOT cooked by real chef, it is only cooked by someone can't even be considered as Cook. The wonton soup is so disgusting and NOT Fresh. Scallion beef is way below par. Chive with pork is awful. I can't believe they have good reviews. Book a table now

Food was not good and expensive. DO NOT get the pork feet soup! It is just a bowl of cholesterol-filled water with tiny amount of pork feet. Do not get the pig intestine either. They deep fry it with large amounts of oil and give a tiny portion. Service was also very poor. Do not know why Michelin gave them a review.

Great food. Strong flavors that don't overwhelm. Shared one dish per person, rice, chicken, string beans, and soup were all excellent. Amazingly clean restroom for a restaurant in NYC. Nice simple decor. Would definitely eat here again.

The woman in the front desk has such a mean attitude. I don’t think being popular entitles you any condescension. Book a table now

I personally don’t think the food worth the forced 18% after-tax tip.
