Taj Mahal West - Table reservation

My husband, parents, and I visited this restaurant over Labor Day weekend. Despite there being only a few other tables occupied, the service was slow due to only one server handling all the tables. It took a while for us to receive water after being seated, and even longer for our order to be taken. The portions were disappointingly small, both for individual servings and sharing entrees. The rotis were large but resembled dried pita bread rather than authentic North Indian rotis. The chana masala had unexpected chunks of tomatoes, which is not typical for this dish typically made with tomato sauce. Although we appreciated the late opening hours and the friendly server, we were not satisfied...

My husband and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night around 7pm. There was only one other table occupied, but the couple left while we were eating. Nobody else came in during our visit, which felt a bit eerie. The service was excellent, although there wasn't much else for the staff to do considering the lack of customers. Most of the dishes we ordered were delicious, but the butter chicken was disappointing. We've had much better butter chicken at other Indian restaurants.

This restaurant in Montreal has the best Indian food. The Chicken Dhansak and Tandoori shrimp are outstanding and perfect for a delicious meal on a cold evening.

My beautiful bride of over 30 chose Tesora for dinner on Valentine's Day. I found Tesora a good choice. And it was!
