Amazing authentic Mexican food. I spent a lot of time in my early years in Texas. When we moved to midwest, we couldn’t find any authentic Mexican food. Get the rojo pork tamales, either at the hot food section or the cold food in the fridge. They taste like homemade with perfect spiciness. Love it! Even the tamales served at the nearby Mexican restaurant, close to Jimenez couldn’t make delicious juicy and spicy tamales. I ordered Quisado Puerco at the taqueria, simply delicious and comforting. Huge portion, you can have 3 servings out of this giant portion. I’m still in disbelief that authentic Mexican food can be found here in the grocery store taqueria. Great store with some friendly employees... I had a bed experience at the kitchen...cashier is somewhat rude, she need to work on her services...
Reasonable prices. Very useful grocery store for the neighborhood. Specializes for Hispanic food. Big deli counter with lots of varieties items.
