In short: I’ve been coming here for nearly two decades. Best Vietnamese Chinese style tofu (and soy milk and tofu pudding) in the region. Always busy, often chaotic, and their ordering system can be bewildering (and honestly a bit illogical) for newcomers or people who want to spend a while mulling over their order. Don’t let this dissuade you: the fried mushroom onion and lemongrass tofus, the different types of che (Vietnamese dessert drinks), the various xoi (savory and sweet sticky rice dishes), and of course the fresh Chinese style soy milk and dau hu (tofu pudding) are the best in the region. I give five stars for consistently stellar food. (The customer service and ordering logistics...

We LOVE the fried tofu at this place! If you’ve never tried it you are in for a protein-filled treat; we like the onion-mushroom type best. The helpful counter servers hustle to keep things moving, no slackers here. It’s not eat-in, it’s all take-out though there may be shaded tables nearby outside in warm weather. I also like the pickled mustard greens (don’t know the Vietnamese name). Even after they raised the prices a bit it’s still a bargain for generous portions (patrons buy 1 or 2 pounds, typically). Enjoy your visit to the Eden Center and your yummy tofu! (I took off one star because the atmosphere is down-to-earth and the exit door area is kinda tacky. But atmosphere isn’t why we go...

Recently had the misfortune of buying food at thanh son tofu that left a sour taste in my mouth, and it had nothing to do with the food. The staff's abysmal behavior and the owner's complete disregard for customer satisfaction made it one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I cannot recommend this store to anyone due to the terrible behavior of the staff and the disrespectful attitude of the owner. It is a shame when the actions of a few individuals can ruin an otherwise decent establishment. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and choose a better store where customer satisfaction and professionalism are valued.

While the service can be difficult and there is always a really long line, this is the BEST place for tofu. For $5/lb of cooked tofu with lemongrass or pepper flavored, it is truly delicious. One has to go through the long service line, and I would also recommend the jackfruit rice. Wish they wouldn't use styrofoam containers, but the food is very good.
