Staff are very friendly! We had a walk this morning got there for when it opened. Food was great have a variety of ciders/beers/ales. Prices are also reasonable! £12 for a pint of Lilleys cider, a pint of Coors pint of coke. We also had a BLT which came to £5 (but can upgrade and have chips for an extra £2) The staff were also great with our dogs too gave them a little beefy treat.
I really enjoy this pub, but on a Friday night at 9pm, six out of our group of eight had to leave because there was no ice available. The bar had been out of ice for hours, which is disappointing. Please let me know when the situation is resolved so we can return.
The restaurant is located in an old, historic building with a wide variety of beers, including local cask options. They also serve tea and coffee, and have plenty of outdoor seating areas.
Convenient watering hole, good for a game of pool and a nice pint but it's a little tired, don't take anyone who's a bit snobby.
