We had a super family meal here. I would especially recommend their sole fillets with spinach and baby potatoes, beautifully cooked and dripping with butter, generous with the sole. The service was friendly, the wine was nice and the beer was good. Finally, this isn’t in Bromley it’s in Chelsfield Village, with lovely views of fields all around. It dates from around 1580, so expect low ceilings, beams and an original inglenook fireplace. It’s super cosy.
Our party of 3 really enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious- especially the duck with mash and a jus that was a special that day.
Lovely welcoming 'country ' pub for an early evening drink. The food looked good and will definitely be on the agenda for our next visit.
This is one of the best pubs around, would 100% recommend. The staff are extremely welcoming and the drinks and food are great !
