we took our mother and dad here as part of their 60th high-time celebrations and it was absolutely perfect. beautiful environment and richard was a great host, polite, friendly and entertaining. However, eating was the star of the show, with much to eat and always the offer of more if we wanted. the chunked with camouflaged were excellent, but we are narrowly grown if not surpassed by the homemade mini Bakewell tarts, lemon cheesecake and jam tarts. would in any case visit again if in the opposite.
amazing classic afternoon tea experience. everything is homemade (profess tea, hot chocolate and even limonade!) and best skorone I tasted! also, very reasonable price, we took the menu for 2 and was more than enough (even after a day of hiking! . they value the way around when they are in the opposite. also, very close to the train station so was perfect for us to make a break before they get the train back to london.
What a lovely tea room. We had the afternoon tea and the scones and cheesecake were particularly amazing! The home made lemonade was also lovely! We had a very warm welcome and the service was great.. and great value for money.
Nice place in the centre of Stroud, very nice and chatty host, not opened long, but will get regular customers, especially on Sundays, their roast is getting rave reviews! Will definitely go again just for the roast.
