The Kettle - Table reservation

My husband and I stopped into The Kettle restaurant, as we were passing through.This is an old historic looking place, that probably was nice in the 1930 's. However, neglect has made it look dingy, dirty, and depressing. The restaurant was freezing and matched the temperature outside.If it wasn 't for the fact that we were hungry and on a time restraint, we wouldn 't have stayed.The waitress read off the dessert options and we chose the homemade chocolate pudding THIS was NOT homemade it was INSTANT. First time trying this place as we just moved to the area. Had good reviews and decent prices. However the food prices on the menu online are not the prices at the restaurant. Very disappointing and misleading. The prices were more than double what is on their menu online. The food was nothing to brag about it was okay . But for the price I would have definitely tried a different place. Sorry for the bad review, just being honest. I did tell the waitress about the different pricing and she said she would notify the owner.

What a great find, just driving around Saratoga came across this little gem. Friendly people inside with a super breakfast. Got to try the riblets and hash. Phish heads welcome!

Wonderful food and friendly, welcoming folks. Their house-smoked meats are not to be missed...especially the pastrami. Make sure you show up hungry! You will leave happy.

Hidden gem outside of Saratoga bustle. Best breakfast in town!
